SUMMER 2005 - Barbara's 6 1/2 foot fiberglass lobster, black and white and red all over, was sponsored by Halifax Developments and was located in Scotia Square. There were 31 lobsters located in and around Halifax and on October 26th they were auctioned at a Lobster Gala. This project was planned by the Abilities Foundation of Nova Scotia and proceeds went to continuing the support the foundation offers to the province. Barbara's cousin, Patrick Semple, purchased her lobster on behalf of the family.
